Gorilla Permits

Gorilla permit is the Pass that grants tourists access/entry to Gorilla habitats llike BWINDI impenetrable or MGAHINGA, each tourist is entitled to carry his/her permit to the day of tracking.mountain gorillas are so sensitive to humans in that a group of eight people is allowed to visit the gorillas per day in each habitat and the activity lasts for 1 hour.

Due to the high demand of permits it makes them scarse on market so hence the tourist are advised always to book for their permits 90 days( 3months) prior to their tracking date,gorilla permits can only be purchased or processed from UGANDA WILDLIFE AUTHORITY(UWA) or through US at faultfree tours and safaris.

for the year 2019 the GORILLA PERMITS raised from $600 reaching to $700 per permit and each permit is per person.

Gorilla Permit Terms and Conditions

Gorilla Permits cannot be guaranteed until we receive a deposit of US$700 per permit (separate from the main tour deposit) and actually pay for the permits at the Wildlife Authority Offices

Cancellations received.

• More than 80 days before the tracking date 25% cancellation fee
• 40 to 80 days before the tracking date 50% cancellation fee
• 9 to 35 days before the tracking date 75% cancellation fee
• 0 to 10 days before the tracking date 100% cancellation fee

Percentages are based on the full current permit price.

FAULTFREE TOURS AND SAFARIS TERMS & CONDITIONS
Reservations are accepted after we receive an initial 40% deposit ot the total cost per person per tour and the full payment for gorilla tracking and chimp tracking permits for each tour participant were applicable. Reservations are confirmed when we contact you. The remainder of the cost of the tour is due 5 weeks prior to the departure date. If your reservation is made within 55 days of departure, the entire cost of the tour must be paid at the time of confirmation. Failure to deliver complete payment at least 50 days prior to departure will be considered notification of cancellation by default and is subject to cancellation charges as stated below. FAULTFREE (U) LIMITED reserves the right to deny participation to anyone whom it deems unsuitable for a tour.
CHANGING TOURS
Any such changes made less than 50 days prior to departure are subject to FAULTFREE (U) LIMITED cancellation fees.
